Robert “Bob” Quinn, PhD, an organic farmer of 30 years, is a progressive leader in promoting organic and sustainable agriculture throughout his home state of Montana, the nation and the rest of the world. In 1986, Quinn’s company, Montana Flour & Grains, introduced the natural food industry to an ancient wheat, called khorasan.  It was marketed under the trademark KAMUT®  which Quinn’s family registered in 1990. Quinn has been involved with several organizations over the years, including the Big Sandy Rotary Club, Montana Farm Bureau, Montana Grain Growers, the Montana Organic Association (MOA), the Organic Trade Association (OTA) and the International Federation of Organic Agricultural Movements (IFOAM).
