Vladimir V Petrov

Vladimir V. Petrov, PhD, received his diploma of engineering (1977) and doctoral degree (2000) of physics and mathematics from Saratov State University. He is currently a professor of applied physics chair at Saratov State University. His scientific interests include biophysics and biomedicine, acoustical microscopy and tomography, optical information processing, optical and acoustical holography, 3D information displays development, high frequency acoustics, acousto-optics, and others. He has published more than 100 papers, has 3 monographs, and holds 30 patents. He is also currently a director general of «SpectrAcoustics» Corporation, a company that provides R&D for and production of velvet antler.
