Soma Sengupta, MD, PhD, MBA, is a professor of neurology and vice chair of neurosurgery research at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She completed her PhD and medical degree at the University of Cambridge, with fellowship training in neuro-oncology and integrative medicine. A physician-scientist with over 90 publications, she is also a creative writer and patient advocate. Dr. Sengupta recently earned an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
